I recently purchased a XT-IDE Deluxe – Bootable ISA CF+IDE Interface Card with IBM XT Slot-8 Support. I put it in my 286 and was pleased to see that my computer immediately booted to the included Compact Flash (CF) card that came with the system.

It did not recognize the hard drive connected to my 16 bit ISA IDE controller card, so I used the included XTIDECFG DOS program and loaded the included AT.bin file (not the exact bios name, which I forget). I adjust some settings and rebooted and now I see the IDE hard drive, but no matter which BIOS I try or setting I adjust, I can no longer see the CF card in the slot of the XT-IDE Deluxe – Bootable ISA CF+IDE Interface Card with IBM XT Slot-8 Support.

I would really like to see this CF card again. Also, I have tried to attach an IDE CD-ROM to the 16-BIT ISA controller card and the XT-IDE Deluxe card and it's never recognized any ideas?
