Hi,

I've just bought a fancy AT-case with a Speed-Display as new home for my 486-80 MHz.

The display (see below) comes with an abundance of jumpers and I wouldn't like to fry it in try-and-error.
Has anyone a hint or even a manual to set this display (see below) to 80 (Hi) and 40 (Lo)?

Thanks & stay well
ildonaldo

Looks like a variant of the S305 with the connectors reversed: http://www.minuszerodegrees.net/led_speed_dis … nd%20S-305H.jpg

Probably standard interlocking T arrangement, units on the top two rows, tens on the bottom two rows, for segments A-G left to right:

 A
F B
G
E C
D

So for '8' you want them all on, and for '4' you want only B,C,F&G. So set B,C,F&G to the '3' position (vertical, so on for both slow and turbo), and set A,D&E to '2' (either to the left or right depending, so they go off when turbo is on).

You'll probably want to remove the jumper from the bottom left. If the layout is as in the instruction sheet then it'll short the high and low positions, so the display won't change. The display doesn't have a hundreds indicator so I don't think those extra pins will do anything, though maybe the decimal points light up.

Yes, it looks like a S-305.
I'll give it a try, but first I will have to refurbish the case.

Many thanks, I'll report back when it's done 😀

I could never decide what to set mine to in the day, mine was individual segment setting, not like some others where you set value to be displayed. So I went 33/99 then Lo/Hi and/or LO HI, and FA/SL then I think I just ended up at FF for 255 Mhz or Friggin' Fast and 8 which is what I thought my turbo was actually doing synch with AT bus.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
