I've tried on the wayback machine, but had no joy. Does anyone know of an ftp or other site that contains a mirror of ftp.asus.com (or the correct address, if their ftp site had a different name or still exists with another name)? I have an archive of their motherboard manuals from socket 7 to sockets A and 478, but didn't have the foresight to get all the other files at the time.

I should add that I no longer know many ftp sites, so any large ftp sites would also be useful. Trying to archive a ton of stuff, but asus is my priority at the moment

I seem to remember their best ftp being the German one. can't remember if it was asus.de or asustek.de now. or something else. Anyway, you are aware that all browsers basically dumped ftp support recently? Therefore not getting into ftp sites from a browser doesn't mean it's not there. iexplore still works, but it's an old heap that's dangerous to drive around in.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

I use filezilla for ftp. I'll try asus.de, and I'll try asustek as well. Thanks

There is still a lot of stuff on the japanese site:
ftp://ftp.tekwind.co.jp/pub/asustw/mb/slot1/440bx/p3b-f/

Thanks. That site has more than I need, downloading any directories I may have use for. I'll save the site for later use as well.
