Hello
Is the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (2019) the latest M.2 2230 format wifi card for laptops ?
- I read cards with Intel CNVi are not compatible.
Older versions:
- Intel® Wireless-AC 9260 (2017)
- Intel® Wireless-AC 8265 (2016)
- Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 (1st starting from 2014-)

if its CNVi it wont work unless you have a pch that supports it. Basically they are the equivalent to yesterdays soft modems and are not real hardware. Except soft modems would work with anything, CNVi is proprietary. Your would be better off with something from atheros if it exists.

I also found Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 (2020) seems these small cards pop-up once a year.
Is there a Intel wifi card for year 2021 ?

Is there any scientific benefit to upgrade to the newest ?
