Hi,

I have a question about dgVoodoo2. Every time I download a dgVoodoo2 compatible game, I extract the same DLL files to the game's directory to make it work: the ones inside "\MS\x86" folder. It always works. So, I started to think about the other DLL that come with the program, as well as the x64 and ARM64 versions of "dgVoodooCpl.exe" (dgVoodoo2's Control Panel). What is the purpose of each of them? I searched all over the internet, but couldn't find an answer. All I could find were tutorials telling me to copy the DLL to the game's main folder. What is "3Dfx"? What is "Glide"? When to use "Glide.dll"?

Thanks in advance!

X86 dll : are for 32bits games on windows.
X64 dll : are for 64bits games on windows.
Arm64 : for use with arms pc.

Glide is a 3D graphics API developed by 3dfx Interactive, which was very used in late 90's 2000's games.
You need to use those glide dll when you want to "emulate" a 3dfx card in your game and use glide instead of opengl, direct3d, etc.. depending of the game.
