Many laptops has an option of being connected to the external monitor, even such vintage machines like Epson HX-20 and Tandy 100.

So my question is if there is any way to connect the HP 200LX Palmtop PC to the external monitor without modifying the palmtop itself.

There was one 16-bit PCMCIA video card:
PCMCIA Graphics and Video decoding cards

Edit: Found a CompactFlash card to VGA adapter... the Colorgraphic CRDVGACFH131 Voyager VGA PCMCIA For PC 1 x CompactFlash Card - type I/II Slot (CRDV-GACFH131, CRDV GACFH131):

Says this one requires Windows CE 3.0 so it might be able to be made to work on regular Windows 3.x.

From what I've read there, I understand that the only option (maybe) is to install Windows 3.1 on HP 200LX and try to use a Canopus PowerWindow T64V Card. No MS-DOS option is available.

And regarding Windows CE 3.0, I doubt that software intended to work with that OS will work with Windows 3.x.
