During this insane shortage of chips an high prices, my urge to go back in time is becoming much stronger.
I know this issue has been explored again and again, but never solved.
We all know about the nforce3 problem with multicores processors and 64bit SO, resulting in non functional AGP.
They said that nforce3 was never designed for multi core cpus so there is nothing to do about that.
Funny thing is, Linux based SO work (I read somewhere), so the point is that nVidia or Microsoft or both were too lazy to deploy a proper Gart.
Is there out there an hero who modded or compiled drivers for any 64bit M$ SO (xp64 or win7 64)?

It could be really cool to have a system with quad core, eight or 16gb ram and AGP (not being a dual Opteron 940 rig of course).
