I have a PC with a Gigabyte GA-6BXDS motherboard and currently two Pentium II 400MHz CPUs. What I'm curious about is, does this board have support for Slot 1 Coppermine chips with the most recent BIOS revision? The manual mentions support for a CPU up to 633MHz, but I don't think Intel ever made a Pentium III at that speed and I'm pretty sure the closest PIII to that speed (600MHz) was a Coppermine part. If it does support Coppermine CPUs, I plan to upgrade to dual PIII-650s since they're reasonably priced while offering a substantial performance boost over the PII-400s.

Depends on the board / BIOS revisions, but if they're OK then yes it does, up to 1.0GHz / 100MHz / 256KB (v1.8 / F1 or later)
