I am having a strange issue with a recent build. ASRock K7VM2 Rev 3 gives me 1 Long 3 Short beeps at POST and the screen goes solid red for a split second- indicating a VGA error.. However, then the POST process continues and the graphics card, a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP, works just fine. Aside from the beeping at every POST, the system seems to be doing OK. I tried setting graphics card initialization to AGP first, I tried setting AGP mode to 2x and I tried disabling AGP Fast Writes - nothing worked. I can't seem to get rid of the beeps.

It seems to be the exact same issue as this: Voodoo3 3000 causing BIOS video error beeps - but works fine

The System:
AMD AthlonXP 2200+ 266MHZ FSB CPU
ASRock K7VM2 mATX Socket A Motherboard
3dfx Voodoo 3 3000 AGP with active cooling mod
Terratec DMX XFire 1024 CS4624 PCI sound card (A3D 1.0 & EAX 2.0)
LG 16x DVD-ROM IDE
Seagate 80GB HDD IDE
FSP 300W ATX PSU with 30A on 5V rail

Short of unplugging the buzzer, any advice on how to fix this? 😀
