this has nothing to do with exult. It's a patch to make the original U7 BG and SI in windows. The main patch only works in win 9x. There is another version, NT compatible, but it's much slower.

The guy also gives some interresting memory "managers", which I sadly can't test at the moment because I only have ntfs partitions (and I'm too lazy to create a fat32 one 😉).

These too are sadly "chipset sensistive". But maybe the older ones (in the umbpci page) could work with AMD processors??

I don't know why this was posted at /. These patches have been out for a looonng time, and unless I'm missing something there's nothing new here. Except for mabye the web page being updated.

Also Exult works better and is better....

With that said I'm copying this to Deep Thought since it is a good page for Ultima info.
