Home made isa riser card

Hi.
I recently bought an old very low profile AT case that has 2 expansion card slots paralell to where the motherboard would go. So when I do a build it will need a 2 slot Isa riser, which seem to be rare. I've got an isa prototyping board so thought it would be easy enough to make one. From what I can see the slot just extends traces through the connectors on the riser for however many slots you add. My question is, what happens after the last slot, does the trace just end there or does it terminate in some other way?

That depends on the TTL logic in use. Older hardware don't really need any termination.
Faster logic (in a sense of faster rise/fall times, not the clock frequency) might need some.
Careless termination might make things worse 😀
