I have been looking for a VGA card for my 286 for a long time that also supports 8Bit. Unfortunately they are quite rare and therefore expensive. I would like to have more than one to be able to equip my bridgeboard in my Amiga with it.
Therefore I cloned an old graphics card. It has few parts and runs fine. The picture is nice and sharp.

EDIT: I did not remove the markings of the ICs. That was already the case. It is a 74LS244 and normal RAM ICs.

I have finished the second revision. It works great. If you need more info or want to build one yourself, you can find it https://github.com/Marco-Both/VGA-Card/.
