Hi,

i have 2 Intel SBT2-boards and 2 Xeon 700 with integrated VRM. None of the boards is working. I can't get it to even fire up the PSU.
When forcing the PSU to on via Jumper, no codes on the post-card.

Any ideas?

Do you have a photo of the connector under P3 (called P4 in the text)? It seems to be the culprit of the problem, there are some wire bridges according to the photo!

Sorry, no I don't and I can't find a better picture than the one linked. However, if you look at the various docs for the SBT2 and the SC5000 you can get both the motherboard pinouts and chassis front panel cable schematic, so I knocked up this quick extract from there - think the only difference is that the cable for the intrusion switches is also connected to P4, but wasn't supplied in the linked picture. Also, I'm guessing P2 is the reset switch (1M7)
