I recently bought an Olivetti Echos 44 laptop from eBay. It works fine, but the previous owner had reinstalled windows (3.11) and hadn't installed the drivers. I particularly need the PCMCIA driver so that I can use my PCMCIA CD-ROM drive. I have looked all over the internet and in the wayback machine, but I can't find anywhere to get them. I was wondering if anybody knows where I can find the drivers. Thanks.

Hmm maybe the Cardsoft 3.1 drivers will work to enable the slot. As for your CDrom drive that requires added drivers specific to the pcmcia card and cdrom.
I have a Satellite 110CS (pentium based) and use a Panasonic 4x pcmcia CDROM and works fine with Cardsoft drivers....
Try this: https://archive.org/details/simpletechnology_ … oftv31_cardview

if it not work will image my disk....

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

I upgraded it to Windows 95, which already had the correct drivers pre-installed and my CD-ROM drive works fine now! Thanks for the help anyway though.
