I bought an Adaptec Sil0680 ATA133 card and it was working perfectly until I updated to the latest BIOS 3.4.0.0 (it came with 3.2.1.0). No longer boots the attached hard drive, even after flashing back to the older ROM and other versions in between. Hangs at the Windows splash screen indefinitely. Boots in safe mode or with the generic driver but blue screens after a minute.

Replacement card arrived today and works fine. I would really like to get the other card working and update the BIOS without fear.
