I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out on this. I have been lurking in the forums for a couple of weeks trying to solve the issue of replacing the hard drive on my Packard Bell Force 860CD. I have downloaded a few Master CDs only to find that they don't work but, after some research, I at least found my Hard Drive Format Number (555618.scr). I don't know if anyone out there knows the matching Master CD for it but I am pretty much at a dead end. I did try to just install vanilla Win95 and 98 on the system but when I unplug the HDD it came with and plug in the new one, the system halts. I checked the drive to make sure there wasn't an issue with it (no bad sectors, spins ok, not too big for the system: 4GB).

If anyone has any suggestions, it will be appreciated!
