I am looking for information on how the firmware is laid out on a Mylex DAC960 PCI RAID controller with the dual EEPROM's, for those which shipped with FW 3.xx or which ordered a dual upgrade kit.

The EEPROMs occupy U47 and U34 near the Mylex chip close to the back of the card, described as a Flash EEPROM, 2 - 128K x 8; boot sectored.

I am hoping someone already has ROM dumps which I can compare to the .IMA file provided with version 3.52 of the DAC960 firmware. I have tried a few ways of laying down the image, but nothing, so far has worked.

The .IMA file from the 3.52 upgrade (DOS package) is a contiguous 256K image. One distinct difference between the .IMA for the single EEPROM version 2.73 (128K), and the two EEPROM version (256K) 3.52 .IMA, is that the 3.52 .IMA starts off with a 32K option ROM. The 2.73 does not start off with a 32K option ROM.
