I don't know if people are good with amiga stuff on here but I was wondering if anyone knew about the interchangeability of amiga monitor psus?
So basically the 1084S I own is out of action due to a bad deflection coil , however it was recapped by the original owner.

The psu for my 1081 looks like it might have bulging caps? , and also the power switch wont hold down , I think the mechanism has gone bad , which is quite common.

Would it in theory be possible to simply mount the 1084s psu in the 1081?

The connections look more or less identical , as does the layout and as far as I can tell the values of the components on the pcb.

I'm just wondering cause I'm worried about blowing something up.

Oh and since I'm here , I might as well ask would tube swapping be possible? , the 1081 is a chungwa E2971B22 screen and the 1084 is a phillips M34EAQ.
