Hi,

I recently received a Sony Vio PCG-9W1M from an eWaste pile. It seems like a tidy enough Win XP Desktop Replacement, so I aim to turn it onto a laptop for some old games. The only trouble is it seems Sony has been removing its older drivers from its website and I can't seem to find them anywhere else. I was wondering if anyone knew of any archive of them, or better yet where I could get a hold of a restore disk for this machine?

The forum had a search facility which I used to find: Sony ending downloads for anything prior to Windows 7

And it's VAIO not "Vio."

I will be honest; I was reading it off the front of the laptop and that squiggle does not look like a A 😁 Its one of thoes words I've only heard said not actually read.
