Hi guys,

I've been messing with these two 6BAs, trying to enable the BIOS USB Keyboard Support, and as soon as I do it they start to act strangely.
The SATA PCI card is being bypassed completely (as if it wasn't there), and it's crucial because I'm booting from it.

There's an option that seems could help
PNP/PCI Configuration --> Assign IRQ For USB
but neither Enabled/Disabled make a difference.

There's also another possibly important option
PNP/PCI Configuration --> Slot 4/USB Use IRQ :
I tried setting it to different addresses but it always gets reset to Auto after the system reboots.

I had the SY-6BA+IV refuse to post once, I don't know why but since I disabled all the integrated devices (except the second ATA controller which can't be disabled AFAIK) and it hasn't happened again.

I wonder, what's going on? Is it a misconfiguration issue or perhaps my boards have some sort of damage? Or maybe they never tested it along with a SCSI/SATA PCI card? I doubt it. By the way, both have been recapped.

I'm currently using a 9200 SE with DVI output, which scales the DOS resolution beautifully to a regular LED monitor.
What other AGP video cards have this digital auto-scaling output? I noticed that some old DOS games have compatibility issues with it, but in general it's satisfactory.
Is there a list of such cards/compatible games? I think I once saw it somewhere here on the forums.

So far it's been performing nicely at 88MHz, but I haven't run extensive tests yet to confirm if it's stable.

There's one more question. If I set the FSB to 133 MHz, the SY-6BA+III reports that the PCI bus is running at 33MHz, while the 6BA+IV doesn't show any values. Is it also running at 33MHz? (I suppose this is so)

There's something else to add to the quirkiness of these motherboards. If the fan tachometer pin is connected to the board, when you access the General BIOS options, it just freezes... I had to disconnect that particular pin. It took me a while to notice this!
