I have got both Xwing and Tie Fighter working prefectly. The only problem I have is that the joystick doesn't work. I think it's broken. I brought it when I purchased Xwing (some 12 years ago). I'm looking at buying a new CH Products - Flightstick Pro USB. Will this work with DOSBox? I don't want to spend $89 for nothing. Thanks.

USB joysticks work better than gameport joysticks for DOSBox, but be aware that DOSBox will only let DOS games see it as a single stick (i.e. no throttle/hat/etc.), 2-button stick - at least that's what I've read on here.

It's true. I have heard the incoming 0.64 release will have better joystick support. 😎
