Two ideas to try:
1. If you're using Win2K/XP, try booting your Windows CD and going to the recovery console and using that to delete it.
2. Search for a program (I've seen them but don't remember where) that will schedule that file to be deleted on next reboot.

If I'd known of a quick and easy option, I'd have mentioned it. Maybe someone else knows one.

Update: I took 30 seconds to search google and found this: http://www.theabsolute.net/sware/index.html#deletedr

I've noticed this being a problem with DOS based executables on Win2K+

What you can do is open a Command Prompt at the location where the exe you want to delete is. Use task manager to kill explorer and then use the del 'file' command in the Command Prompt.

Don't post OS questions in the future when you are using a pirated OS, thanks 😀

Yes, it’s my fault.
