I have an 3c905b-tx ethernet card in my Win3.11 PC and I want to get the driver working in DOS. I added the EL90X.DOS to the Config.sys but it says that it is unable to to access the protocol manager. The protocol.ini is located in the same directory where the driver is. What do I wrong?

I could not find a PROTMAN.DOS in the drivers of the ethernet card. Strange.

It's not included with them. In order to use NDIS drivers in DOS it is expected that you use them in a full network "stack" which requires the use of either the LAN Manager Client or Microsoft Network Client 3 for DOS
