Does anyone have a good tip for me, to remove those stains in the metal of an older IBM look a like XT power supply?
I dont know what to use so i can wipe the most of it away.
~ At least it can do black and white~

Try Window cleaner that has some ammonia in it, I use Windex to clean the chrome+stainless on my microwave. Takes a bit o elbow grease but works ok....
Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
There is semi-chrome which is meant to polish chrome. You will end up with micro-scratches though.
My guess is that the stains are rust but they could be something else as well.
Pictures would help.
