Hi everyone.
I've acquired one of those generic LCD-386 Portable Computers.
The computer is mostly working, but I’m having trouble with the built-in LCD (a B/W Hitachi LMG5160XUFC) because it came without the original graphics card.
I found a graphics card that has a connector for an LCD, much like the original one.
But unlike the original one, this card lacks the extra connectors for the inverter board (a Yuntek YN9101) and contrast slider.
Without being able to power the inverter board, the backlight of the LCD remains dark.
Due to that, I also can’t tell if the LCD is working.
I’m planning to make an adapter that allows me to plug it into a molex connector.
However, without knowing how much voltage it actually needs, I can’t proceed with my idea.
The inverter board has a 3-prong connector with two red wires and one black wire.
My question is: How can I supply power to the inverter board?
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or experience on how to resolve this issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
