Has anyone got a pci Quadro 280 running on older hardware, I got hold of the card as its bascially a cheap 5200, popped it into my p233 and installed nvidia 81.xx drivers under windows 95.
I tried a few games under windows, and for the desktop it was fine, but whenever I had tried running a directx game, I was just getting a black screen. Under dos, everything seemed to run fine.
I upgraded to windows 98, and that didnt really make any difference, so Im back on my s3 virge and everything works, although slowly.

Any ideas if I could get the quadro working under win9x?

I use one of those with an Asus TXP4 and a K6-3+ @ 500 MHz. I force install the 45.23 driver as a 5200. Here's a typical score.
