I found yesterday this beautiful in 166MMX configuration, but every time i try to turn it on, it shows info display is functional, show ac power in and turned on. Only thing it do is 1-3-3-1 beep code and thats all. No boot, display is blank and it doesn't respond to keyboard (caps, num lock icon, nothing). Laptop have no memory module installed; it should have 32 MB EDO ram on board. Should i try to add a stick of memory or should i look for a problem elsewhere? Motherboard doesn't seem to be damaged; everything looks very fine. Could it be problem with cmos battery? But when battery is dead, it should boot anyway or not? Thanks for your help.
