Hello! My first post here!
I've just got radeon 8500 128mb not LE version, but as it turned out OEM version though, which runs at 250/250 instead of retail's 275/275 which I had hoped for.
I've learned that in most cases it's enough just to flash bios to retail version, but after spending half a day searching I only found single 128mb option on techpowerup database for Hercules card, which unfortunately didn't work for my card, probably due to Hercules card having Hynix memory and my card has Samsung. Anyone who has non Hercules retail 128mb 8500 retail card, could you please upload your bios here I'd be really grateful for that. I know that just flashing bios to retail version doesn't always work and I'd need to replace vMem resistors for higher voltage, but I'm ready to do this mod if necessary.
I'm just waiting for multimeter to be delivered to see what voltage my vMem has.

Is your card's memory Hynix or Samsung, your post is confusing. That said, if it's not 275/275 then it's a 8500LE.

Mine is here, but in TXT format (exported by CPUZ, sometimes GPU-Z cannot extract the bios)
You can probably convert it with some tool...

https://retro.user-unfriendly.net/Parts/Graph … 8500%20bios.txt

It's from a 275/275 version.

Edit : an hexadecimal editor can probably convert this file format.

Thanks for the info! I see only bios for LE and AiW on that website. I'll try to ask on their forum as well

Sorry for not being clear, I've updated my post. My card's memory is Samsung. And no, it's not LE version it's OEM version

Your bios turned out to be 64mb bios and I'm looking for 128mb. Anyway thanks for posting it, saved for the future.
