Hello, i usually use CD Speed 99 to test optical drivers under Windows 9x operating system. The software do also the seek times test, which appears to be the "hardest" test to pass (random, 1/3 stroke and full stroke seek times )

Most of them fails at the 1/3 Seek test, but they still work under normal use, so i wonder if the software is reliable or whatever the problem could be? Are the optical drives still reliable even if does not pass this test ? Thanks
