Whenever i use the launchpad, to open no matter what file, i get the error:

Title (of the error window) : "16 bit MS-DOS subsystem"

Error message: "C:\DOCUME~1\Brutus1\LOCALS~1\Temp\~VLP0846.PIF (the last four numberes change, sometimes to letters (looks like hex to me) )
Invalid program file name, please check your pif file. choose 'close' to terminate the application.

I'm using Windows 2000 SP3, i don't think that my vid card/sound card and other hardware specs are realy needed because it doesn't seem like that kind of a problem, but if you need any information, let me know.

The stuff that you are trying to run is in a directory with too long a name. Shorten those names so that the full path of the game's executable is less than 64 characters (Windows/pif limitation; a newer version of LaunchPad, not yet officially available, has a workaround for that by converting everything to short file names).
