Hello,
i ressurected one of this old warriors, being in very bad shape, corrosion etc.
Now, i want to make some upgrades and first thhing that i noticed is that mobo don't have any cache modules installed.
Does anybody know what type of cache modules this machine uses, where to find them...
Thanks 😀

Does it look like this?

The attachment ibm.jpg is no longer available

If so, you need DIP-28 static RAM modules. Each one should be 32K, and you can install either 128k (4) or 256k (8), plus a TAG chip.

You can find them online, look for SRAM DIP-28.

You're welcome 😀
It's a solid VLB board with a good on-board video card.
Just beware that it only supports 5v CPUs (unless you have the VRM module)!
