Hi everyone,

I have a VIA Epia 800AG mini-itx motherboard that gives me headaches right now. It shuts down after doing POST.
At the summary page, when the bios "looks" for a boot drive. If I stay in the BIOS setup, the motherboard stays on!

I initially suspected the PSU cause it's a small form factor 350W PSU I bought from a used computer reseller.
I tested it with another 300W full size ATX PSU (Enermax 300W atx v1.3) same behavior.
I have to both turn off the PSU switch for 30 seconds and then switch it back on.

Both PSU work fine with other motherboards. Voltages are well within ranges.
Brand new CR2032 coin cell, cleared CMOS many times.

Then I pulled my Seasonic Focus Gold 650W from my current rig, and you know what? The motherboard stayed ON!

I am at the point of possibly recapping the cpu area capacitors...

My goal was to build a super compact retro MS-DOS gaming rig.
I don't want to spend more money in this if the motherboard is slowly dying!

Any advices?
