When I try to run The Perfect general 2 game, I get an error complaining about having the CD in the CD/ROM drive. It's there. I can look at the CD and everything is fine. Any ideas as to why the game may think it isn't there or a way I can get around the problem.

I'm running Windows XP.

If you are using the GUI launchpad with VDMSound, have you tried enabling "Low-Level CD-ROM support" on your game's VDMSound shortcut (.VLP)?
