Hello for retro community!
I have MSI K9MM-V and i wish to make her friends with Phenom x4 9959 BE?
May someone know is it possible ? Will something about modification of bios is needed?
Will it help?

Maybe this answer is still useful...found the thread by accident.

The MSI K9MM-V (MS-7312 VER:1.0) is not designed to run with such powerful CPUs - the AMD Phenom x4 9950 BE has a TDP of 125 W or even 140 W, but the K9MM-V supports CPUs with a TDP of 89 W at its maximum (due to its weaker VRM). It is definitely a pre K10 board and therefor createdto use with AMD K8 and "K9" (dual-core K8) CPUs with a max. TDP of 89 W - maybe it also has BIOS-support for early Phenoms as the last official BIOS has been released in March 2008.

For more information have a look at the spec page on my website -> https://soggi.org/motherboards/msi/K9MM-V.htm.

kind regards
