i would fix the cpu running at 120mhz before I scrutinize any other test. The CD speed is actually a blessing. 8x drives run nice and quiet, having your disk spin up and down to 48x is annoying. I'd personally leave it be, unless you intend to dump 100 disks from cd to your hard drive.

Well said, i'm agree 😀

That Speedsys cpu score would be accurate even if the processor detection / frequency was not, hence I would trust it is running at 120mhz

No wonder you have low performance for a 200, if it's not a 200 😀 Should it be? Ie does it have a 200 CPU inserted?

Yes, i put a pentium 200 in it. Originally was a pwnrtium 120, and i swapped the processors, but bios and benchmarks still sees the pentium 120... and i don't know how to change it.

There must be multiplier/ fsb jumpers on the motherboard, you should be able to find something online though in an IBM I'd almost expect it in the case or printed on the motherboard

Here is information about the mainboard: https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/intel-advanced-mn-oem
There is a PDF-documentation, too (see Jumper Manual there: https://theretroweb.com/motherboard/manual/33957.pdf), it shows only frequencies up to 100 MHz (66 x 1,5).
It seems to be so, that only a Multiplier of 1,5x is possible. If so, I just wonder how your CPU does 120 MHz (= 60 MHz x 2,0)....Maybe your mainboard-revision is another one (more modern) than the shown revision Type G-1 on The Retroweb

I LOVE CPUs RUNNING IN [GonzoHz]
