Well, ya know what? Windows update never interrupts me when I am using my computer. I leave it on for weeks at a time. It has only ever auto-rebooted for updates when I leave it running overnight when it is idle which is when the idle / inactive time window is set in Windows for it to allow it to do the updates itself.

And I know it interrupts the majoty of users when it updates and there is tons of posts and documention on the internet about it. So don't pretend it doesn't happen.

Yeah i don`t see the Point.
Just do 2 Versions, Business Edition with TPM enforced, Home Edition without/optional.
Then almost all Devices that would run 10 would be supported.

No, I didn't contradict myself. How is it interrupting me when I have the time for it to do automatic updates when I am sleeping? And even if I stay up all night it detects that I am actually using the computer (not idle) and won't do any updates until the next day unless I manually tell it to do updates.

I have 5 or 6 desktops and laptops set up this same way and they never give me any problems.

Maybe I just know how to use my computers.

I do use Windows 10 Pro and I am pretty sure that Windows 10 Home has less user control over the Windows updates but I haven't messed with Windows 10 Home as I never had reason to.

I've been on 10 Pro since the preview releases and always stay up to date and usually have my computers on the insider preview track as well.

Thank you for a more more detail account of your use case. I'd imagine the vast majority of users are on the Home version. My wife's laptop came with that it does quit and update without any prompting/warning. For up to half an hour in some cases. She was never given the option to put Windows 10 Pro on it when she purchased it.

Matrix printers, it trashed support for matrix printers (needle printers).
Imagine, doctor's offices worldwide couldn't do their jobs because of it.

It's just one of many annoyances that Windows came up with in the past years, though.
On older versions, you could at least skip some updates.
Windows 10, if at all, allows this in Pro versions only.
