Bought a 3dfx Voodoo 3 locally, the seller had listed it as Voodoo 3 2000 for 50€. Knowing the current prices at eBay I didn't have to ponder long should I get it even though I already had a 2000 and have been on a look out for a 3000. Well guess what, the card IS actually 3000!
The card does have the silver 3000 heatsink on it, but I figured it's most likely just one of those that did have that or someone had just replaced the original. It's also possible someone has flashed the card with 3000 bios, need to take a look at the GPU at some point to see is it really a 3000.
I do feel a bit bad for the seller though, apparently he was sick or something which could explain his mistake. I'll stop feeling bad if I catch the plague from it.
