I start Fastracker 2 from win and audio works.
If I try midi out (a feature of ft2) It does not send it...

I tried also Impulse Tracker in the "midi" mode, using the command "it /s19", and it automatically recognizes my mpu 330 port, and it sends midi messages.
So, at this point, it's a Fastracker 2 issue, in the sense that it does not properly recognize my ess1788, probably because tge 1788 is Soundblaster pro compatible, while Fastracker 2 preferes (I suppose) soundblaster 16 isa card.

Hi!
It starts, audio works, only midi doesn't, but I think that's because my card is SB Pro compatible, while, in order to properly work, FT2 need SB16, at least for midi

I had similar issue with my integrated ESS1879.

Replacing Dos driver to ES1869 helps to fix "MPU-401 disabled" message.

Hi,
do you know where to find them, please?

I just run one time ES1869 Dos driver and that's it, restarted laptop and sounds works fine.
