Thank you for the report and save file. This motherboard is quite tricky as it does not have an SMBIOS so SIV has the scan the BIOS and try and work things out. All the information in [Machine] is from these deductions.

1. I can't see Pentium-S being reported, how can I tell it's a Pentium-S please?
2. The .DMI file is a dump of the BIOS and it does not contain -S at all.
3. Unknown is the socket upgrade, I should have changed it to ZIF Socket in the attached SIV32L 5.62 BIOS-02, please may I have new save files.

On NT4 and earlier SIV32L 5.62 BIOS-02 also reports if DBGHELP.dll + PSAPI.dll are missing on [SIV Lookup]

The system had the Tahoma Font installed and looks the better for this.

I wonder how SIV could tell, do any Windows programs report it as Pentium-S and if so which?

That's what OMORES already said, but I don't know if it's possible for other than the BIOS to know this.

That's what OMORES already said, but I don't know if it's possible for other than the BIOS to know this.

google tells me only award bios did this label for pentium cpu, and looking up op's cpu, which is visible in one of his photos, leads me to think it's nothing special, just a plain old pentium cpu.

I checked the CPUID and it reports 505 unlike Kirin with 504.
So it's possibly a new ID for SiS specifically.

Thank you. As I recall this SiS CPU is a SoC implementation of the mp6 and given it has the * Chris Norrie * Easter Egg it must be mp6 derived.

About, the BIOS, it is custom built. So if you spot something out of the ordinary, also let me know so I can potentially fix it.

Thank you for the report and after looking at the save file I made some adjustments and this SIV32L 5.63 Test-01 should do better, does it please?

1. Looking in the PCI config space at 50h it's A7h which looking at 3.2.12 in the datasheet means the HOF is 66MHz rather than 60MHz. This caused SIV to decide yo use a x 2.5 multiplier rather than x3.0. I should have adjusted SIV to allow for this, but I feel the value should be A6h (60MHz)
2. I should have fixed this bug.
3. Looking at 60h the values are 80h, 80h, 80h, ... and for two x 64MB it would be 40h, 80h, 80h, ... 40h, 40h, 80h, ... so I feel 128MB is correct.

For NT systems please may I also have such as C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.SPRINT\My Documents\Software\SIV32L\SIV_SPRINT.dmi which is a binary dump of the BIOS that contains the data displayed on the [Machine] panel.

I don't think your motherboard reports SMBIOS/DMI data and I am unsure which motherboard you have. If you post a screen shot of the POST screen that shows the motherboard name and BIOS version I suspect I will be able to improve what SIV reports.

Here is the new data including DMI file you requested. I see it also contains a copy of the BIOS region from RAM.
It is award 4.50PG and really it predates DMI and many modern features.
The BIOS is a custom conversion built from the AOpen DP5 bios, and looking at it again I think the 128MB row 0 configuration may be my doing.
I will have to change how the DRB and DRBE register is configured from the RAM detection routine. This bios adapts a 6 simm boards bios to a 4 simm.

Other than that this now all looks good. FSB and timings are read correctly.
I will test a few more variations using all the other registers that SIV reads.

Thank you for the new save files and the link. I have adjusted SIV32L 5.63 Beta-01 such that it should report the board as AOpen P5-DP and made a few other improvements, please may I have new save files?

SIV failed to report the disk SMART information, do any utilities manage to do this? For me know know why I need the output from doing SIV32L -DBGSDM -exit=15 > SIV_DBGOUT.log | more. My guess is that the SiI PCI-0649 Bus Master Ultra DMA Controller does not support the SMART I/O operations.

Upgraded my main system from a 9900k and Z390 Aorus Master to a 5950x and EVGA X570 FTW, SIV can't detect any sensors on the board from what I can see

Thank you for the report and looking at Menu->Hardware->Sensor Debug SIV did not detect a SIO/LPCIO at all! What does CPUZ report as the LPCIO on it's [Mainboard] tab?

Looking at [USB Bus] there is EVGA Product: 3842:300A:A112 and I wonder, does this reports the sensors? Do AIDA64, HWMonitor or any other 3rd party utilities report the sensors?
