Hi, I cannot achieve to get the ISA NIC working on Windows 95 OSR2.5. Also I cannot find a newer driver for Windows 95 AM2100/AM1500t. The Mainboard got a chip AMD Am79C960 on it https://www.amd.com/system/files/TechDocs/16850.pdf

The NIC works with Linux and the Lance.o Module. I was already online with lynx on a 2.4x based live Distribution. The System got 32MB RAM and a Base 1 Terratec Soundcard. I disabled the soundcard, due to resource conflicts on io and irq, dma. But also if I try to set the resources manual without any conflicts, the computer freezes, and the setting disappears on reboot. If i let it automatical configured, it doesn't freeze the computer, but pinging isn't possible, despite the right ip values for ip address, mask, dns and gateway. Also automatic retrieval doesn't work for the IP address over DHCP. But the device manager then doesn't show any conflicts.

Do have to install the NIC with the same values as in Windows 95 also in DOS via autoexec.bat and config.sys with an DOS driver and installer? I'm clueless.

Okay, it turned out, that it doesn't need any additional NDIS or ODI NICs and that the AMD AM2100/AM1500t ISA driver works the same way as the AMD AM2100/AM1500t ISA+ (I think that one supports also ISA PNP? But this adaptor doesn't has PNP capabilities) from within Hardwaredetection in Windows 95. BUT windows 95 doesn't seem to detect the resources conflicts reliable.

It turned out, that I had to configure the adaptor with io 0x300, irq 5 and dma 5.

Because it gave me 60 possible combination between the free ressources of io, irq, dma i didn't find any suitable combination BECAUSE Windows 95 detection of hardware ressources conflicts isn't reliable at all. It claimed that there were no conflicts, where conflicts were indeed the culprit of malfunction.
