OK so it IS working, it's just EXTRAORDINARILY quiet compared to the Pearce board. I pulled the PIC completely and I can barely hear the default SN76489 noise and music playing with speakers turned all the way up, which is ear-splitting when using the Pearce board. Maybe the variable resistor thingy is the wrong type, or the LM386 amp is bad?

I have swapped the LM386 with a new part, swapped the SN76489 with another known-good part, and triple-checked the resistors and capacitors against the parts list provided.

OK I figured it out. The headphone jack provided with the kit was missing the ground lead, I don't know if it's the wrong part or defective part; I don't see how I could have accidentally removed it, it's missing the leads from inside the headphone jack as well.

I replaced and it seems to be working perfectly now.

I've bought 2 kits, one for myself and one to assemble for someone in the states that withdrawn it's interest. While I don't hate to have a spare, I would feel bad having one in a anti-static bag sleeping in a drawer if it make someone miss it. I would not mind sending you a built/operational one at no extra-cost (as it was a fun project to do), but the round-trip across the pound might weight in the balance of your other option which is to wait if matze79 create more kit.

If more than 10 people are interested, I could put together a few more kits.
It doesn't make much sense below that.

No, its almost done.
Did yet only assemble one card, but need to fix small things.
It still has bridge wires.
i was sick for past months and did not do much retro stuff.
i will continue it when i`m better.

a friend of me tries also to get a tandy dac implentation working but he does since few months and only has time in holidays..
so it will take ages.

I'm about to order a few PCBs from JLCPCB but does anybody have the actual gerber files? JLCPCB complains it doesn't know the dimensions of the PCB with the files from github.

Also, according to this video they mention certain Tandy voice samples not playing correctly? (ie. Space Quest)

I'm also interested in the "full" version of this card (with PC speaker passthrough) but it doesn't seem to have the gerber available publicly?

Thanks very much!

Does this look right? I've just uploaded the ZIP to JLCPCB and this is what it produced:

Also, do you know of any open-source Adlib (OPL3) ISA PCBs I can also build?

Tandy Nano
As far as I can remember this is exactly what I got from JLCPCB - the boards worked fine.

Adlib
Adlib is OPL2 (YM3812), not OPL3 (YMF262).
