I just snagged the initial (unstable) release of the new MyPal 68. This is a FireFox port for WinXP.
I use Windows 2000, so I went in with CFF Explorer and patched some missing imports in MOZGLUE.DLL and XUL.DLL with bogus ones. This was enough to get it running.

It's foggy outside so my net connection is very slow... but so far the browser seems to be quite functional (posting from it right now).
again another retro game on itch: https://90soft90.itch.io/shmup-salad
Thanks for info, but I tested it on https://www.rb.cz - "vstup na ucet" button and it does nothing (new javascript compatability issue). The only one working option for WinXP is ExtremeExplorer 13.5 based on Chromium 86, someone from MSFN did cleaned it up of chinese & google spyware sh!t so it's quite usable...

I tested 360 Extreme Explorer V11, 12 and 13 modified by Hummingowl of MSFN.

Version 11 was the one that rendered websites best on XP SP3. It also scored 505 on html5test.com, higher than v12 and 13. It worked flawlessly with Zoom for web and Skype for web (Skype discontinued XP support and no other XP browser works with Skype for web). Zoom kept locking up in 360 EE v12 and 13.
I tested Feodor's MyPal 68 but found some websites wouldn't work properly (VMWare's knowledgebase and a few others) so it's in the same league as other XP Mozilla based browsers. Hopefully Feodor will work out the kinks and improve the JS engine.
If you're an XP user Hummingowls's modified 360 EE V11 is your best choice. Bonus - it's natively portable.
AFAIK RB web doesn't work in older v11, 12 so I used the last one.
I use ungoogled version by Arctic Foxie:

Very useful...thanks !
BTW I found there's new build of One-core API 2.8.1 on Github for WinXP and heard it allows run Chrome 102, didn't test it yet...

Firefox 106.0 is out. It seems there is a versioning war among browsers. Everyone of them must follow the same numbering scheme.

Imo they should have gone for a year.version numbering. 2022.1, 2022.2...

They should've rolled with the UNIX timestamp.
Firefox 1666303651, 1666303659, 1666303663...
I'd still like to know who thought it was going to be useful to move the decimal point on the version numbers.

I tried Opera 10.63 on Windows 95 from https://retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/ , but got an error message: "Opera has failed to access or upgrade your profile. This may have occurred because your computer has insufficient resources available or because some files are locked by other applications."
Solution: Edit "operaprefs_default.ini" in the Opera application directory and set "Multi User = 0".
I am impressed with this browser. It loads and displays most modern web pages without errors. It's very slow on my machine (Pentium 60 with 32 MB), but still usable for lighter web sites.

For me what work best is 13.5 articfoxie version
528 points in html5 test, and is the only one that still works fine on github
