I experienced Windows 95 on a Gateway 486 DX2/66/8MB, and I always wonder back then how fast would run Windows on the fastest computer available... That's why I'm still installing old Windows OSes (98SE especially) on much newer, *unsupported, configurations. (Don't worry, I also love to play with old hardware.)
I already have some topics on NT 3.51 and 4.0 which are running fine on a Ryzen 3900X.
Recently, I installed Windows 95 on the same configuration. I discovered that, after installing manually the PCI bus, you have to delete from registry the old entry for the video card or else drivers won't install... I would like to share stuff like this on a dedicated section...
