The "512k" thing is probably just some creative marketing. What they really meant is that there should be 512k L2 on your motherboard. This follows the same logic as writeback cache chips that PCChips engineers used as terminators to get the L1 cache to work.

This version goes on the tillamook pins its self between the socket and processor. The previous version went on the motherboard behind the socket.

Hello, do you have more for buying/testing. I have a HOT-557 I want to try this in (I also can't PM yet)!

What should I test first? What questions can I answer about it?

The burning question is that silly 512k cache, I don’t believe for one second it has that on die but….my brain needs satisfaction.

So how about some tests to find out what that number is referring to 🤣

I'm not able to get my tillamook 266 to see the 512k of cache on a Shuttle HOT-557 v1.5. My 233 mmx works fine with the 512k addon. I can use my motherboard's onboard 256k without issue on the 266 tillamook. Using the red l2 cache mod on the chip made the system unstable at 512k. Not sure what else to try. I took the red mod out and at least I get the 256k of l2 😀

Also if someone can find a 4.5x multiplayer modification or better that would be cool 😁

Try brdy# and ads# mod?

May be a modo issue. Does it work on other cpus?

It doesn’t seem like a 4.5x is possible. I’m hoping to soon get a tillamook 300 and 366 (both fake, but one may have a real 300 inside)

Anyway, when I get it I hope to document 4.5x working and how it is actually done. Unfortunately I expect it will only prove that it was locked on the 266,233

Where did you find this?
The paint job and the print really look horrible.
Have you already tested it?

Oh yeah, these are just novelties I am really curious if the 366 or the 300 has a actual 300 in it though (I’ll never be able to tell, unless… I am really hopeful that I can prove that a 4.5 X exists, if that shows up then. Boom! Definitely a real 300) unless intel used 75 fsb on them?

I have bought a Tillamook 266 a couples years ago and request a technician to modified.

It works on my Soyo SY-5EMA+ V1.0 (1MB Variant) and I tried in my Shuttle HOT-591P V2.0, but it doesn't like the Tillamook (it locks during post with L2 cache enabled).

I have a Jetway J-5TXA (430TX - ATX) that have VCore options of 2.04V and 2.14V, still have to test if it works in this motherboard.

Any ideas for the HOT-591P?

Mine is modded with the Red (just a wire), Yellow and Blue (just a wire), maybe it needs more mods to work the HOT-591P.
If I have time, I will test in the 430TX motherboard.

I have the Yellow.

Sorry, misread.

Vccdet is all that is left then.

Ok, I will try to mod it in the future.
Also works in the Soyo SY-5EMA+.

Thanks
