Perform a hash of your directory and compare your MD5 of files to the MD5 I gave you to see the difference. If it's different then it's likely corrupted.
Either do that or find another copy of the game and just compare timestamp between the games and fix the difference and see if that fixes the game.

Unfortunately not. Best you can do is search the Internets, plenty of tubes out there with old versions of Half-Life.
