Perform a hash of your directory and compare your MD5 of files to the MD5 I gave you to see the difference. If it's different then it's likely corrupted.
Either do that or find another copy of the game and just compare timestamp between the games and fix the difference and see if that fixes the game.

Is it possible for you to send a zip containing hl2 1.0 already setup. I've not gotten any progress , very little information out there on this topic especially when it comes down to the specifics like gameID and such
