how could i do that?
could i just access the cd from my computer, click and drag the install.exe to dosbox?

i have trouble understanding the 60 second guide.

if my cd drive is e:\, do i have to put it as d:\ like the 60 second guide says?
because d is my archival hard drive isn't it?

ok i i did exactly what the guide said, but step 5 says that the prompt needs to be z:\
my prompt stays as c:\ hence the last step in step 4.

how can i change it back to z:\? do i have to mount another drive?
do i have to quit dos box and start all over?

also, it says that mounting c:\ is not recommmended. please mount a subdirectory next time.

do exactly the same again. You did not do step 1 and step 4 exactly if Dosbox tells you that mounting c is not recommended.

No. Once you've done the mount commands in 4. the only drives you have IN Dosbox are c:\, d:\ and z:\

That warning only comes up if you do something like this:
mount C C:\
If you do a mount C "C:\some\directory" you will not get the warning.

i got it to work!

now if only under a killing moon could be this simple.
i have to switch cds in the middle of game play!
to do that i would play the game until i needed the next cd, then i would insert the next cd, then i would go ctrl f4 and that should do it?

Yes. If you want to take the CD swapping to the next level, then you can create copies (BIN/CUE images) of the CD's, save the images to your hard-disk, and use the imgmount to mount them with. Then you don't need to physically swap the CD's, just hit Ctrl-F4 and DOSBox will use the next image.

ok, i installed the game and got everything working perfectly, sound, graphics, everything. i did it in a different way then what you guys said, though.
i just took the isos i made and mounted them in a virtual drive, (daemon tools, alcohol 120%) and set up the drives that daemon specified in dosbox. i didn't use imgmount at all, and to change cds, i just mount the next iso in the j:\ drive on daemon tools, and the game itself automatically starts it up.
