the video window disappears almost immediately and fps is very slow. i can made it work with dosbox priority "highest" but only intro and menu, video in game is first frame only

I think I know what's causing that. The next release might fix that.

Is there a key sequence to get the map at the bottom right in Whiplash or is Dosbox-Rendition/RReady broken?
I've got cutscenes working in Tomb Raider and chroma keying almost 100% in Whiplash. CPU load might have gone up. Not had time to test it. Texture loading should be more reliable though TR1 menus still don't work properly. I had it working using a dodgy hack, but that breaks other things.
I'll do a release shortly.

Extremely experimental alpha release:
Alpha ^3
Dosbox-Rendition:

RReady:

- TR1 cutscenes (new game cutscene may randomly only render if dosbox has focus. Only sometimes, the weirdness i strong in this one),
- textures loading correctimg
- Whiplash chroma keying is vastly improved (clouds+smoke+flames+HUD should render correctly. A few text elements are still glitchy)
- vQuake is showing signs of life, but it doesn't run. It no longer produces BIOS errors and appears to be running
[There may be stability issues with ICR2/CART2]

Hey @Raven-05 I thought you'd already moved. Good to know you're still around in spirit if not in hardware. Stay safe. Thanks for the call for support.
I'll be addressing vquake tomorrow. Scorched planet produces a timer message and locks up. Ef2000 is having issues with vesa calls. I think vquake and ef are solvable. Splanet I dunno might need changes to dosbox. Maybe I can make them.
Hopefully by the time you're back speedy3d will done and dusted.

Scorched planet needs fixed amount of cycles in dosbox in software mode to not freeze in the menu for example cycles=40000

Will try check it out tomorrow.

I was wrong about the tr1 cutscenes. They're not 320x200/256 colours. They run in a 640x480/16 bit mode.

i think you already know that but just in case:
i guess the easiest way to debug that is in control panel during the game: graphic options:
panel on should have the map i guess
panel restricted should have the map i guess
panel off doesn't have the map i guess 😉

Thanks. I didn't play around with it. There's also a stray vertex in a polygon sequence which needs to be fixed. Causes bars to go across the screen.

Team Apache works on my Intel igpu. The menu issue with Rready where the screen becomes black and mouse has to be moved to refresh it, still remains there as in my nvidia card.

That's actually shocking. The menus and videos don't work on any of my Intel based systems.
Front buffer writes are poorly supported on Intel systems because they're tile based renderers.
@BEEN_Nath_58 are you sure you have an Intel based system?

I didn't even need DxWnd for it. Also I attached the remaining problem with the game. The missions run as well

Ah this is on Win7. I don't have a Win7 based system to test on.

I don't think it's related to Windows. On general the OpenGL compatibility was quite same on both OS wherever I testrd
Edit: which other games had issues?

ANything with front buffer rendering (vhexen II loading progress bars, Team Apache come to mind. There was one more, I forget which). The SPD3D stuff Tomb Raider's cutscenes for instance will have problems.
I've made dosbox and Dosclient higher than normal priority, which is why I thnk ICR2 was having issues. I'll roll out an alpha tomorrow with all that removed,

I've never been able to get front buffer writes working reliably on Win10 (all my Intel based machines are on 10).
