I downloaded Night Trap and it came with a version of DOSbox and some instructions on how to use it,

[/quote]. Set-up DOSBox
After launching DOSBox, there are only
two commands you will ever have to rem-
ember to launch Night Trap.

FIRST, TYPE:

mount c C:\

(Replace the 'c' and 'C:/' with your hard
drive letter. 99% of users will have "C"
as default.)

THEN, TYPE:

mount d d:\ -t cdrom

(Replace the 'd' and 'D:\' with your CDROM
drive letter the Night Trap disc is in or
mounted to. This is probably "D" or "E" for
real drives, and "F" for virtual drives.

I enter this and nothing happends, it just says 'Drive C is mounted as local directory' then 'Mscdx: mounted subdirectory: limmited support.
Drive F is mounted as cd rom F:/'

What am i doing wrong?

Ask the guys where you downloaded it.

Btw. getting the newest dosbox version is always recommended.
And personally i wouldn't trust people who tell to do a mount c c:\

I got it from a torrent site and it was included...

Do you just run the disc as normal or should it run automatically after imputting the commands?

No, it doesn't run automatically. Use standard dos commands like
"c:" to change the drive, "cd something" to change to some directory etc.

Other than that buy the game.

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox.

But, since you are using an illegal copy I suggest you take your questions to the place you obtained it.

The question you need to ask yourself now is this:

Is my time spent in getting this illegal to work in DOSBox worth more to me, than the costs of buying a legal copy of the game on eBay, Amazon or some other reputable site?

I just was asking if i was doing something wrong because i've never used it before.

It doesn't matter really and buying it is out of the question considering it came out for the Mega CD and 3DO and i don't think it's worth buying them for the novelty of one game...

Actually, it is quite trivial to run Mega CD games on a Windows PC these days. I'd even say it is frequently easier to do so than it is to get many DOS games running properly.

on a Windows PC

Guess that's not useful for the OSX guys though.
