Hey, everyone.
1. I'm using an Orpheus II in a case with a full-size PC speaker. Ideally, I'd want the PC speaker output on my motherboard to be connected to both the case's PC speaker for general use, and to the Orpheus for audio capture.
I found what look like jumper wire splitters on Amazon. Is it safe to split the two PC Speaker signals like that? Is there an easier/safer solution I haven't thought of, other than "Dear God, you maniac, just pick one or the other"?
2. In other PC, I'm using an Audigy ZS 2. The gameport on this Audigy is broken out from the main card on its own rear bracket.
My case/motherboard is using an I/O shield that happens to have an unoccupied gameport space on it that I could punch out. Has anyone been in a similar situation and been able to remove the gameport from its bracket and attach it to a similar rear panel? The port detaches from its bracket easily enough, and fits inside the I/O shield, but there's nothing there to hold it in place. The other ports - parallel, serial, etc. - have the motherboard itself to keep it in place.
Thanks.
